Your school district can partner with the University of South Carolina to offer a fully online Master of Education in Education Administration. This customized cohort learning experience will focus on equity, access, and strategic thinking to affect compassionate and responsive change for both school- and district-level leadership. Cohort members learn to lead where they are while earning a master’s degree in Education Administration at the elementary or secondary level.
The two year, 36-hour program is tailored to the demanding schedules of full-time educators (100% online delivery model). All virtual core classes in Educational Leadership and Policies are synchronous, and elective courses are asynchronous. Does your school/district want to expand and deepen strategies and skills to better reach and teach English Language Learners?
The M.Ed. in Teaching offers a specialization that meets course requirements for the South Carolina ESOL add-on endorsement. Certified educators will engage in coursework in theory and practice related to English Language Learners (ELLs); courses offered explore teaching reading and writing, assessment of ELLs, curriculum design and development, linguistics, and principles and strategies for K-12 classrooms. This degree is a 30-hour program with five core courses and five courses for the ESOL specialization. All courses are eight weeks and delivered online, with delivery times adjusted to accommodate the schedule demands of your educators.
