The CarolinaCAP Summer Experience is an annual opportunity for pathway candidates to learn and share with other candidates, CarolinaCAP coaches, district leadership, and CarolinaCAP team members and advocates.
Attendees enjoy opportunities to network, grow in professional learning sessions led by high-caliber South Carolina education leaders and hear words of inspiration from dynamic guest speakers.

Objective

- Breakout Professional Learning Sessions 1 & 2 (9:30 – 11:15 a.m.)
Professional learning session will equip CarolinaCAP participants with additional knowledge and skills they can take back to their individual classrooms and schools in the fall to further engage their students, thus maximizing the learning experience for all. - Lunch (11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.)
- General Sessions (12:30 – 1:45 p.m.)
Participants will learn about earning micro-credentials, getting support for Praxis exams, special education and benefiting from coaching - Closing Session (2 – 3 p.m.)
An opportunity to hear from a panel of candidates and coaches as well as recognize and celebrate pathway completers
