The coach demonstrates the use of purposeful questioning in a post-conference to provide opportunities for feedback and help identify aspects of the observation that will promote new learning.

The coach demonstrates the use of purposeful questioning in a pre-conference to collect information and help identify aspects of the observation that will promote new learning.

Implementing Reflective Questions

The coach demonstrates the use of purposeful questioning to promote educator reflection in a conversation that is transformative and creates a shift in teaching and learning.

Listening as a Skill

The coach demonstrates the use of key listening skills as tools for creating the foundation of an effective coaching conversation.

Using Planning Conversations: Coaching

The coach supports and accelerates deeper thinking through purposeful and intentional conversations in which learning goals are refined and strategies and approaches to reach those goals are explored, considered, and selected.
