This stack is designed to provide educators at every level with skills to use basic, intermediate, and advanced block-based coding to control educational robot movements. In addition, educators will learn how to integrate educational robots into lesson plans designed for their own instructional contexts.

Introduction to Robot Coding

The learner uses block-based coding and applies the concepts of move, turn, and loops to control the movements of an educational robot.

Intermediate Robot Coding

The learner uses block-based coding and applies the concepts of delay, conditionals, and infinite loops to control the movements of an educational robot.

Advanced Robot Coding

The learner uses block-based coding to create code and solve complex challenges involving an educational robot.

Designing Lessons with Educational Robots

The learner designs a lesson plan in which educational robotics is meaningfully used to promote learning. The lesson clearly shows well-aligned context, learning standard(s), learning objective(s), activity description, and assessment criteria.
