Candidates must meet the requirements outlined below to progress each year.

Year One

Graduate Coursework

  • Receive a ā€œCā€ or better in each CarolinaCAP course

Micro-credentials

  • Submit no fewer than four micro-credentials
  • Select at least one micro-credential from each of the following SC Teaching Standards 4.0 Domains:
  • Select at least one micro-credential from Literacy

Overall Effectiveness Rating of Met on the SCTS 4.0 Evaluation

Year Two

Micro-credentials

  • Submit no fewer than ten micro-credentials
  • Select at least six micro-credentials from your content area stacks
  • Select at least one micro-credential from the Professionalism SC Teaching Standards 4.0 rubric domain on Professionalism
  • Select at least one micro-credential from the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion stack
  • The remaining two micro-credentials may come from the following stacks:
    • DEI stacks
    • Literacy
    • SCTS 4.0 Domains
      • Instruction
      • Planning
      • Environment
      • Professionalism

Year Three
